BUILD REQUIREMENTS FOR DEVELOPMENT WITH SYNTEXT SERNA v.4 SDK

The present document lists the versions of Python/Qt/PyQt used by Syntext and the compilers/languages
that should be applied by the Syntext Serna v.4 Software Development Kit (SDK) license holder entitled to
develop products using the public Application Programming Interface (API) of Syntext Serna v.4.

1. Compilers and Languages

To create C++ plugins and Qt plugins for Syntext Serna v.4, use the following compilers:

1.1 Syntext Serna v.4 is built with the following versions of C++ compilers: 

- Linux: g++ v. 4.0.x
- Win32: Microsoft Visual C++ 2003.NET v. 13.10.xxxx
- Mac OS X 10.5: g++ v. 4.0.x
- Sun Solaris 8: g++ v. 3.4.x

1.2 Syntext Serna v.4 runs Python plugins using the built-in Python interpreter v. 2.4.x.

2. Toolkits and Libraries

Syntext Serna v.4 plugins use the following versions of toolkits/libraries:

- Nokia Qt v. 4.4.x
- Riverbank Computing PyQt v. 4.4.x
