Serna Academic LicenseAcademic users are entitled to buy Serna Professional or Serna Enterprise license for the special price for only 49% of the current price list. Serna Enterprise license is available as 3 or more license pack. Note: Serna for Solaris 8 is available only for Enterprise Edition. Please contact sales@syntext.com for more information. Academic Licenses allow students and faculty to use Syntext Serna software for "Academic Purposes" only (see below). EligibilityOnly state-licensed academic institutions can purchase Academic Licenses. Other organizations (including non-profit organizations) must purchase the regular Serna license. Purchasing ProcedureWe must receive a request from an authorized representative of the Academic Institution. If the academic activity of the representative is obvious from the results of internet search engines, then no additional letter is necessary. Otherwise, the representative should send an official letter of request (original or fax). The representative must be a full-time employee of the Academic Institution. NotesCustomers have access to the Serna users forum for discussing problems, functionality, and feature requests related to Syntext Serna. Academic License Includes 12-month basic support. Basic support includes free download access for minor and bug fix releases for 12 months from the date of purchase and best effort e-mail support. Premium support can be purchased with the same discount as Academic Licenses. Minor version number is the two last numbers of the product version number (for example, V1.2.5 means major version 1 and minor version 2.5). |
