Syntext Serna: Create and Open XML Documents Handily | |
Accompanying Metadata in "Document Templates"To create or open any XML document, an XML editor must know the XSL stylesheet, document encoding, XML schema, and other relevant meta-data. Existing editors usually require the user to create a "project" and input all this data manually before opening or creating the document. This can be a tiresome procedure. Serna uses a different approach: it automatically matches documents against templates in its template library; templates in turn contain all necessary meta-information. So the user usually opens or creates XML documents with just a single mouse click!
Serna guesses the type of XML document, its stylesheet, etc. before the document is even opened.
Creating a new XML document. A number of popular DTD/Schemas are supported out-of-the-box.
