Because rendering in Serna is on-the-fly, new information is immediately integrated into the document. This makes it possible for Serna to provide the user with context-specific, step-by-step hints which simplify document creation.

In the following example, when the "section" element is empty, a hint is printed that section titles should be entered. Once the title is entered, the hint disappears and the XSL stylesheet automatically creates the inscription: "Section 1.1.". See the relevant XSL stylesheet fragment.
