Maintenance and Support Package
The Maintenance and Support Package (MSP) for Syntext Serna Enterprise XML editor enables you to receive priority technical support and provides you with free updates, including major versions, for one year.
MSP is mandatory for the first year, so you must purchase MSP at the same time as the product. You can renew your MSP when it expires by paying the current list price of MSP. The renewal of MSP starts on the day immediately following the expiration of the previous MSP.

To renew MSP which expired more than 2 months ago, you must purchase the upgrade.
Services Included:
Free Updates
You are entitled to receive all Syntext Serna XML editor releases and updates for the duration of the MSP period, which may or may not include additional features. You will be entitled to receive both minor and major product releases.
Technical Support
Technical support is provided via e-mail. Syntext will respond to your inquiries within 1-2 business days (US and Russian holidays excluded).
Maintenance
During the support period, we encourage you to report problems or errors related to Serna XML editor usage. If Syntext determines that a reported reproducible error exists in the software and seriously impairs its usability, Syntext agrees to make a reasonable effort to correct the problem or provide a usable work-around solution in the upcoming update or maintenance release. The timing of updates and releases is entirely at Syntext's discretion.
